The Gossen Meter Warranty fully covers any manufacturing or material defects 24 months from date of purchase.
To receive this warranty, the defective product must be sent with a copy of the sales receipt/proof of purchase and a short written summary explaining the problem to the following address:

This warranty is not valid for equipment that has been tampered or opened by an unauthorized Gossen Repair Facility. It also will not cover any damage sustained by operator error such as damage caused by dropping, water and other causes of damage not covered by manufacturing defects or material defects. Gossen or Manfrotto Distribution cannot be held responsible for damage caused by unsatisfactory operation of equipment – such as wasted materials or other expenses.
Manfrotto Distribution warrants, to the original purchaser only, that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper usage for a period of (see above) from the date of purchase. Flashtubes, batteries and cords excluded. Manfrotto Distribution’s obligation under this warranty is limited to replacing or repairing, at Manfrotto Distribution’s option, products or parts determined by Manfrotto Distribution to be defective in materials, or workmanship. To obtain warranty service, the purchaser must deliver the product or the defective part(s), carefully packed and with proof of purchase date to: Manfrotto Distribution, 565 East Crescent Avenue, P.O. Box 506, Ramsey, NJ 07446. All shipping expenses are the purchaser’s responsibility. If the product has been superseded, replacement will be made with a current model of the same quality and equivalent function. Warranty of replacement parts is limited to 90 days or the unexpired portion of the warranty period of the product on which the parts are being used, whichever is longer. This warranty does not cover any defects or costs caused by: (1) modification, alteration, repair or service of this product by anyone other than Manfrotto Distribution; (2) physical abuse to, overload of, or misuse of, the product or operation thereof in a manner contrary to the accompanying instructions; (3) any use of the product other than that for which it was intended; or (4) shipment of the product to Manfrotto Distribution for service. This warranty does not cover labor costs. Under no circumstances shall Manfrotto Distribution be liable for any special incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, damage to or loss of equipment, lost profits or revenue, costs of renting replacements and other additional expenses, even if Manfrotto Distribution has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Any express warranty not provided herein, and any remedy which but for the warranty contained herein might arise by implication or operation of law, is hereby excluded and disclaimed including the implied warranties of merchantability and of the fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow limitation on implied warranties, so above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which may vary from state to state.
